Caleb Ryan Tullius / Music Program Coordinator


Caleb Tullius is a proud El Paso, TX native musician. A graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso, he earned a Bachelor's in Music Education and a Masters in Music Performance in Conducting. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Audio production from Berklee School of Music. While in his collegiate studies, he performed in the UTEP Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Jazz Bands, Mariachi Los Mineros, and the Marching Miners. He studied brass pedagogy abroad at the Domaine Forget Academy in Saint-Irenee, Quebec, Canada. He marched with the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Caleb is an avid supporter of the marching arts. He has been a high school visual caption head for 5 years and has been a marching technician for 7. He is currently a band director at Eastlake High School where he lead a marching band to the UIL State Marching Band contest for the third time.

Caleb created and is on the board of Sun City Marching Arts, a Non-Profit Organization  that supports the local marching circuit. He is happy to be part of Ethereal Winds Independent and is excited for the future of the organization.

Sergio Amador / Music Caption Head


Sergio Amador is a graduate from the University of Texas at El Paso, where he received his Bachelor’s in Music Education. He is currently back at UTEP pursuing a graduate degree in Music Performance on Horn. He is also currently a Graduate Assistant at UTEP working with the marching miners. While at UTEP, he has performed in many ensembles, including the Wind Symphony, Marching Miners, Symphony Orchestra, Horn Choir, and Concert Band (Clarinet/Trombone). He has also performed at many prestigious clinics and conventions such as 2018 TMEA Convention, 2017 Midwest International Band & Orchestra Clinic and the 2019 Honors Performance Series College Ensemble at Carnegie Hall in New York City. 

Mr. Amador is a marching advocate and has several years of experience working on staff with the bands in the local circuit. 

He has worked extensively with the Eastlake Band during their marching season, and by providing Horn Masterclasses and lessons. In 2021, he marched Drum Corps International with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps from Casper, Wyoming.

Alyssa Frescas / Woodwind Specialist


Alyssa Frescas is an El Paso, Texas native musician. She is a graduate from Texas Tech University, where she received a Bachelor’s in Music Education. Alyssa is a clarinet player that studied under Dr. David Shea. During her time at TTU, she participated in the Goin’ Band, Symphonic Band, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Clarinet Choir, and various clarinet ensembles. Additionally, she has had the opportunity to perform at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA).

As a proud advocate of the marching arts, Alyssa has taught at several schools in Lubbock, Texas and is a previous student teacher at Eastlake High School!

Pablo Estrada / Brass Specialist


Pablo Estrada is an El Paso, Texas native musician. He is currently in pursuit of a Bachelor's of Music Education at the University of Texas at El Paso where he's been a part of multiple ensembles. These include Concert Band Ensemble, Symphonic and Symphonic Wind ensemble, and the Brass Commencement ensemble. Additionally, he has been in the UTEP Marching Miners and Pep Band where he has had leadership positions in the baritone and sousaphone sections and has recently been placed as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Position for the Marching Miners.

Outside of his studies at the university, Pablo has been a part of a few programs across El Paso working with Riverside High School from 2018- 2019, Del Valle High School in 2021, as well as the Irvin High School Band 2021 season. In all of these programs he’s been part of the visual and marching staff, as well as the music staff.

Gabriela Tellez / Brass Specialist


Gabriela Tellez is a native of El Paso, Texas. As a graduate of Coronado High School, she attended the University of El Paso where she obtained a Music Education degree in 2021. During her time at UTEP she participated in the UTEP Marching Miners, Mariachi Los Mineros, the Symphonic band, the Wind Symphony, Jazz Band, Brass Choir, Symphony Orchestra, UTEP Pep Band, and various trumpet ensembles. She has also had the chance to perform with several different ensembles at the International Trumpet Guild and the International Women’s Brass Conference.

Gabby has been involved in teaching with the local marching arts in El Paso since 2016 and has taught at various schools, including Bowie High School, Coronado High School, Riverside High School and currently Bel Air High School. Her Drum Corps experience includes performing with Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps from San Antonio, TX in the summer of 2016. She is currently on brass staff with Arsenal Drum and Bugle Corps. Gabby has experience working with all levels of music from Elementary to High School. She is currently one of the Assistant Directors at Bel Air High School in El Paso, TX.

Alejandro Perez / Brass Specialist


Alejandro Perez graduate from The University of Texas at El Paso where he obtained a Music Education Degree in 2019. During his time at UTEP he participated in the UTEP Marching Band, Wind Symphony, Jazz Band, Symphony Orchestra, Brass Choir, UTEP Pep Band, and Trumpet Ensemble. He also had the chance to perform at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) and American BandMasters Association (ABA).

Since 2014 Alejandro has taught at various schools, including Socorro High School, Clark Middle School, Americas High School, Eastwood High School, and currently is an Assistant Director in San Elizario High School and Head director at Garcia Enriquez Middle School (GEMS) teaching Band and Mariachi. Alejandro still performs to this day with his family group across the borderline at various events and music festivals.

Amanda Hernandez Hunt / Brass Specialist


Amanda Hernandez Hunt is a former music teacher in the El Paso area. During her time as a music teacher, Amanda served a key role in the Socorro Independent School District initiatives. Her contributions incude establishing the first homogenous beginning band program, creating the first Dual Language Elementary Academy music curriculum, and opening the Paso Del Norte Fine Arts Academy. Before her time as an elementary music teacher, Amanda served as a band director at Sun Ridge Middle School, leading the program to new accolades. Amanda has also served as a clinician and instructor for many high school band programs in the southwest, including La Cueva High School, Volcano Vista HS, Montwood HS and Pebble Hills HS.

Amanda is a graduate of the University of New Mexico, where she studied horn under J.D. Shaw. During her time at UNM, she performed in the top ensembles including the Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra. As a performer, Amanda was a member of Pacific Crest, The Blue Knights, and The Troopers. She aged out with Bluecoats in 2011 as a mellophone soloist. Amanda has served on the instructional staff for Genesis, The Santa Clara Vanguard, and The Troopers. Most recently, Amanda served as a mellophone instructor for the 2023 Blue Knights.

Amanda is currently an Account Executive for a creative communications agency in El Paso. Amanda is an active volunteer in the Junior League of El Paso, where she currently serves on the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee. In her leisure time, Amanda is an avid archer and enjoys competing in archery events.
